If you wet the edges before you put the other side down it should stick better. Maybe sugar with the brown sugar on top.

Same here with me as with another commentator--this 73 year old lady loves cream pies!! Will be making this some day, and your pizza, the one with the crust on top!! I'll never buy those expensive frozen pizzas again!!! (as we all know, everything, just about it seems has doubled in price, even simple items sold in commercials).
