It was your review on the Redmi 9T that made me by the Redmi 9T. And it's been three years now and I am still using it. Just that the motherboard got damaged after an update and I have it fixed.

I have the xiaomi 13t
The only solution to fix and get 4k 60fps recording is through using gcam
Dont know why but xiaomi limited the video recording to only 60fps
When the dimensity 8200 ultra chipset is capable of recording at 4k60
Same with thd regular dimensity 8200

Had the 13T since it was released. Works great and haven't had any problems with it.

I bought 13T for 424€, a relatively good deal (outlet version, someone had opened the box and used the phone for under a week but it's in perfect shape otherwise). I previously used Poco X3 Pro but its motherboard died after 2, 5 years of worthy service.

13T has enough performance for me, I've encountered a couple of frame drops in menus but I think they can be fixed with optimization updates.

A big reason why I chose this particular model was 144hz. However, I wish that you could somehow force it to function in any app you wanted. No method has worked yet but maybe software patches will allow for that. EDIT: I found out that you can force 144hz by disabling software optimization in developer settings but the device starts to feel a bit choppy with forced 144hz so maybe it's better to keep it down to 120hz if it is not supported by the apps you are using.

The phone also happens to have one of the lowest overall touchscreen latencies, just 48ms. For some reason 13T Pro has 66ms of delay even though the screens are identical. Even gaming phones tend to have more delay (DXOMark has measured the latencies empirically and 48ms is a great score). The screen even feels too responsive which makes me feel stupid when I play Geometry Dash lol.

Gaming works well and 13T can still run 32bit apps using the performance cores unlike the Pro model so that's also something to keep in mind when choosing between 13T and 13T Pro.

Battery life seems to be a bit weaker than what it was in Poco X3 Pro, especially in standby mode. I need to charge 13T at least once in a day. Charging speed is good enough, in very rare situations I'd like to have to have faster charging than what 67W provides.

I'm not particularly interested in cameras but it's nice to be able to take great pictures. I was also impressed with the zooming capabilities. 4K 60fps recording would have been nice though. Selfies aren't anything great but I usually take them once in a year so I'm perfectly okay with that.

Hoping to see this phone last at least 4 years. Software update promise seems good as it should be getting security patches still in 2028. My main concerns regarding the aging are the battery and the fact that the phone has 8GB of RAM. I've no idea if that'll be enough for good performance with Android 17

The 13t is perfect and almost all you can ask for in a midrange phone
But the pro can be compared to the likes of iPhone 15 and s23
Except for the selfie camera and of course no wireless charging

Upgraded from the Z fold 2 to the 13T pro.
Solid phone for the price here in HK.

How the hell is Xiaomi 13T not capable of 4K 60fps videos???

Even 2018 phones with Snapdragon 845 were capable of 4k 60fps.

Xiaomi locked this option on purpose....
