Compiled by the very same man who gave me my start in this industry when he signed my first-ever single A Higher Place to Hed Kandi in 2003, Mark Doyle has created the ultimate Peyton collection which is now available for digital download as well as a limited edition 2CD set. It was actually Mark who introduced me to the legend that is Eric Kupper, who I went on to write and record so many records with, including a full artist album. It was Mark who asked me what my artist name should be, and in a moment of panicked genius I blurted out 'PEYTON' because my surname is actually a perfectly memorable artist name. It was Mark who put me on stage at Pacha in London for my first-ever LIVE dance music performance in a club, the kind of which by now I must have done thousands all over the globe. And yes, it was Mark who suggested quite a few of the covers I've done over the years, all of which have been rather clever ideas including Baker Street, Sex On Fire, A Little Sensitivity and Let Your Soul Be Your Pilot. I do not believe in accidents or coincidence. I think I am doing exactly what I was always supposed to be doing, but I believe that Mark Doyle was put in my path to facilitate my destiny. He is not an angel, although he is definitely fierce! He is also a maverick, a pioneer, a captain, a brainstormer, and a loyal friend. It makes utter and perfect sense that a decade after he gave me my start, he should be taking stock of what I've been up to these past twelve years and putting it all together for your enjoyment. After all . . . he is also the consummate compiler.
