I bought the 1.5 cubic inch one to replace a 40 year old Sanyo that the display goes out on intermittently. The Sanyo boils a cup of water in 2 minutes 25 seconds or 145 seconds. I was hoping the LG would do it in 2 minutes but was amazed it did it in 1 minute 37seconds or 97 seconds, which is 33% faster.

Not gonna lie using the defrost with the this microwave has been the best I’ve ever used🤷🏽‍♂️ no frost freeze, if you get the weight close enough it does a great job on thawing out the food

I want to defrost a breakfast sandwich which has bread, egg whites, turkey sausage and cheese. Package says defrost for 1.30 minutes then cook for 1.20 minutes. My old microwave cooked it perfectly, now I have cold areas. Suggestions?

Do you have to add weight for defrosting bread? Or is def4 sensor defrosting basically?

Do NOT buy! This broke in 2 years, the warranty is only for a specific part not 10 years like it says in the front label( it does not specify a specific part only on product) no point in having a certain part covered when the whole product stops working!!! JUNK!!!
