Very interesting episode Brad, so very expensive and time-consuming. Seeing that amount of damage would be enough to wear anyone one down. Better luck for the upcoming year to the whole team. Have a great Christmas.

These are great videos Brad, thanks for the insight and I hope you keep them coming. Question...What's hiding under the cover in the first

Over the off season, is it possible you could do a suspension settings video that shows us the adjustments that can be made on the cars?

Shame about the cost but all those broken and deformed parts have absorbed a lot of energy

When I seen the crash I thought it would be way worse than this it almost looked to get into more of the firewall then it did

All the engineering that goes into designing the cars “ stopping cars we use concrete blocks
After all the years racing in Adelaide, no engineer has come up with an absorbing rail that goes in front of the blocks’ even better if it’s manufactured out of some of the used racing tyres

Brad I could see by the wall thickness that the (destroyed!) control arms are CrMo by the wall thickness. Is the main car structure and the front & rear clips also CrMo or are they CDW steel to keep costs down?
Just wondering how you get on repairing if they are CrMo as it doesn't take kindly to being re-welded. Thanks for sharing.

How come the welds on the chassis/frame look like it’s just a heap on tack welds close together? Does it change form fabricator to fabricator or part of the design of the chassis?
