Example 1 : Represent the following situations mathematically:
(i) John and Jivanti together have 45 marbles. Both of them lost 5 marbles each, and the product of the number of marbles they now have is 124. We would like to find out how many marbles they had to start with.
(ii) A cottage industry produces a certain number of toys in a day. The cost of production of each toy (in rupees) was found to be 55 minus the number of toys produced in a day. On a particular day, the total cost of production was Rs 750. We would like to find out the number of toys produced on that day.

Sir in 8:20 when 750 is transposed to the other side it will become -750.Please correct me if Im wrong

Sir you need to make an some basic concepts of this ch like what are quadratic equation and what type of equation is not quadratic equation and also what are the roots of the quadratic equation you always made such type of videos while starting a new ch but you have not made an introduction video for this chapter. I think after this comment you will made an introductory part of this ch

Sir I didn't understand the fact that in question they asked to form equations so we got x+y=45, (x-5)(y-5)=124 so we already got equations right so we can leave the answer here right but what is the reason you made 1st equation as y=45-x and put it in 2nd equation and at last you got x^2-45x+324=0 why cant we leave the answer when we got 1st and 2nd equations
