01-05-2025 Oswego County, NY - Heavy Snowfall Aftermath

Heavy Lake Effect Snow struck Oswego County New York and Surrounding counties as well, as it is not uncommon for this area of New York to get hit with Lake Effect snow. This Lake effect event brought upwards to 8 feet of snow in some towns in and near Florence, NY. Camden, NY saw upwards to 5 to 6 feet in certain areas. Road crews are actively working on clearing large amounts of snow and dealing with stuck vehicles and stuck snow plows.
