Nico should start over Asensio. I’ve not heard anything from Asensio over at PSG, meanwhile Nico has been killing it at Bilbao and has made himself a player to watch for every big club in Europe. Plus he’s a very dynamic player, which can give Spain some more variety in attack.

Think Isco deserves a call back into the National team this time and Unai Simon is the starting GK I think. As for the Wingers, they are somewhat underwhelming options imo, would be nice if they go 3 at the back and push up Grimaldo and Porro as Wing Backs in a 3-5-2.

Nico and Lamine are much better than the other potential wingers and also they are the only fully classical wingers here. They are also much faster.

Even though he won’t, Yamal has to limit his minutes at the tournament if he goes. He is racking up injury after injury. If he starts and plays every game at 90 minutes, it could push him to a point where any injury takes him out for minimum 1 year. Same as Pedri, Spain need to rely on their other players.
