Samsung has unveiled its 2022 TV lineup ahead of CES 2022, comprising 8K & 4K Neo QLED TVs with Mini LED backlight technology, as well as self-emissive Micro LED TVs in smaller sizes (89-inches, 101 inches & 110 inches), but there's no sign of the much-anticipated QD-OLED TV from the South Korean manufacturer.

Samsung's 2022 8K Neo QLED televisions include the flagship QN900B, followed by the QN800B & QN700B. In the 4K Neo QLED range, there's the flagship QN95B, then the QN90B & the QN85B. Note that flagship status & availability may vary from region to region.

Do you know the approximate release date for the new Samsung TVs?

I wonder how they would introduce their QD-OLED TVs after bashing LG TVs OLED through commercials.

Samsung in 2022: See guys?! MicroLED is JUST around the corner (don't buy OLED!), and we have these 3 new models you'll never be able to afford if you worked 10 consecutive lives to prove it!

Samsung: We invented our own dynamic metadata HDR format because we don’t want to pay Dolby royalties.

Also Samsung: *includes Dolby Atmos decoding on their TVs*

Hopefully one day they’ll adapt Dolby Vision, especially as there’s more media made with that HDR format in mind. Until then, I won’t be going with Samsung.

Im shocked Samsung is this late in the game, and has been working with 12 bit processing. 16 bit would have been better for 4000 nit content. Sony has been using 14 bit for several years now. Last year, Vizio of all companies is using a 16 bit processing chipset.

With the anticipated prices of QD-OLED I don't blame them for skipping the first generation.
And I'm quite happy to see Samsung continue development of Mini LED with high brightness and hopefully more than 5, 000 zones on the top end model.

Hope they start sending the review models rapidly fast!

Isn't adding more picture processing add more lag? Dolby and Samsung in the same sentence will get some people hopes up (Dolby Vision incoming?).

PlayStation 5 VRR support when coming? Do you have information?

The price of Micro LEDs is $1300 per inch of screen. You can completely have customized the shape and size and in order to get one you have to go on Samsung's website and request a quote they will likely not get back to you. I was trying to order a 12' one which they say you're allowed to do.

Will you test the small 43 QN90B 2022? I hope you will. WIll it have 14 Bit tone dimming or only 12 bit? Do it allso have 2 tv tuners? Will it have anti-reflection? Is the support for Dolby Atmos only a software support on the 43 tv? Hope you can help me confirm that its not like this. But some say its only the bigger screens that have this nice feature, are that true?? All the best regards sent from Denmark

God Bless Vincent for not laughing in Samsung's face on Zoom when they mentioned the 2022 TV Line-up:
- No Dolby Vision (Every hear of Disney Plus?)
- No OLEDs (yet)
- Smart Calibration using a Galaxy Smartphone (You're trying to make me obsolete!!)

Anyone know if the multi view on the Neo QLED TVs are going to support multiple HDMI inputs? The Samsung release noted up to four simultaneous HDMI inputs could be used at once using Multi View, but it's not clear whether that will only apply to the Micro LED models.

Samsung is producing a QD-OLED panel for Alienware's new 34" monitor just announced at CES. So it is coming sometime.
