Noël Coward's much-loved Brief Encounter was a 1945 multi Oscar nominated British film by David Lean. See it on stage at the Torch Theatre in an adaptation like no other.

Laura is a married woman with children whose conventional life is turned upside down by a chance meeting at a railway station with a stranger. The two quickly fall into a powerful affair, bringing about unexpected consequences and a remarkable love story.

The Torch Theatre Company vividly brings to life this stunning multi-media stage production, inspired by Kneehigh Theatre’s hit Broadway version, in what will be the biggest production ever staged by the Company.
