GM has had this problem since 2007 in the suburbans with the 5.3 or the 6.2. It was AFM then, now it's DFM, and I was worried the corvettes would have the same issue, looks like they do.

Thanks for the video. Just got my 24 last month . At first I thought it was normal because maybe it’s a rear engine car . Then I realized that my c6 n c7 doesn’t make that noise why would the c8 make this noise . Also Ive noticed my c7 non performance exhaust sounds louder than my c& performance exhaust at lower rpm . Time to visit the dealership 😢

That’s crazy that a 2023 vette still has this issue. My 1985 vette has the same lifter tick. Like why. Makes no sense to me

The dealership has had my car since April 26th...no answer to what are fox for this noise...I had the same exact noise..the car is literally 6 months old..2100 miles on it..

Dealer diagnosed the issue as bad lifters.

No it's not direct injection....it is a Hydraulic lifter..I bought my 2023 ..delivered in Nov23..it's May 23..and dame noise..took it to the dealer ..they're dropping the engine to open up the valve covers...go figure..2100 miles on my car....GM should be ashamed for this...
