Maybe in one of the alternative multiverses of this franchise (and there is clearly a multiverse there, given all the oddities and plot holes) they became a couple, declared their love for each other in the ract, kissed, and after the flight they live together under the guise of "simple friends", and they themselves are a couple in love, where Belka is like a wife (working in the circus again), and Strelka is like a female husband (who decided to become an instructor or continue being an astronaut), well, or without "roles", just a loving couple. I would like to see this.
