There are probably few people reading this who are not carrying some form debt. Debt is common and in some circumstances, may even be unavoidable. But how does God want us to handle debt? In this final message of this series Pastor Philip share an eye-opening message about debt management and cancellation with practical life-changes principles.

Our church taught this twice. The first time I started and it didn’t stick. The 2nd time I took notes and implemented it immediately. We sacrificed dining out, movies, shopping. The thing is we HAD the money to pay debt, but preferred to use it in splurges. During the pandemic hubby got 2 significant raises ($11 total / hr) and last year I got promoted. We did cash envelopes. I paid off my car a year early. I paid of med bills, card debt and more!! I think the total was 35k. I’m down to my last card which is a little over $1, 000. I also decided to give weekly money to missions. That really boosted the blessings of God in our lives. We went from 580 credit score to 801. You can do it if you apply! We build a new house and now are in the process of building a pool. My wish is that God will use our pool for baptisms in the end times. God is so good and FAITHFUL to his word!

My church teaches the snowball effect.. sacrifice your wants to pay off one bill of debt & then instead of looking at that as free money once you’ve paid it off, use that extra money to pay off the next bill & so forth. I haven’t done it yet, in a tight financial situational test but once I’m out of this & money is flowing in, ima definitely implement everything God’s been teaching me thru others! Can’t wait for this testimony of how God set me financially free 🙌🏽

I am so happy to see young Pastors preaching the importance of legacy to our children, the importance of spending money with wisdom and the importance of not being a borrower.
One day, I too, will be debt free.
Finally, Jesus paid a price with no debt we owe.
