Well black people are very rare in Japan. There are some natives mixed black and japanese but they are so rare that you really don't see them often. I'm an African American but I really don't look for black people in anime. But it's cool when they do. bnha even takes place in Japan so yea. Minas pink skin is from her quirk, the acid changed the pigment. Nice drawing. Your art is always very well done.

I do this series for fun and nothing else, yeah I bring up the fact that some of these shows don't have black characters but that's just a fact I bring up organically and don't dwell on. This is just fan art with a twist, allowing people view the character in a way they can rarely find anywhere else, to also stand out from other fanart. I don't think this would be an issue If I had only done gender-bending so far (which I will do as well as other things like alternate styles, time periods is a good too, etc).

1. I'd really like to see a black All Might, but honestly I think a black version of any of the Pro Heroes would be really cool.
2. If Deku were black, I think there would be at least a few minor differences in the story or dialogue, but he would also be one of if not THE most famous black protagonist in anime, and that sounds cool. As for it's effect on me, I personally never cared much for Deku, although he is a refreshing take on shounen protagonists who were almost always dumb as rocks and could eat a bull elephant's weight in food for some reason.

If it were up to me, I would've made Deku a girl. Not enough female protagonists in shounens, and a lot of character dynamics/interactions would've been more interesting imo. Also, having Shimura Nana pass O.F.A. to All Might then him to a girl Deku (female to male to female) sounds more appealing to me.

And I wouldn’t care if Deku was black. I really want more black anime protagonist cause that shit Jaden Smith did. Oh god was awful. I’m hoping millennials take over BET in a few years and change the whole dynamic. Like add black anime, super hero shows like Luke cage, black sci-fi stuff like that.
