This video is more like, how NOT to choose paint colors. :) I'd love a video where you explain why certain items are a match. For example, what makes the Classic Grey a match with those Cesarstone countertops? What is it about the undertones that work together? Etc.

On wrong colors, many years ago I was intrigued by Donald Kaufman's genius and his full-spectrum paint line. I had his books, too. So, I painted my living room a color and the entire room turned red. Why? The neighbors red tile roof was reflecting against the full-spectrum paint through my windows (close lot lines in West L.A.) Yes, I did repaint and not full-spectrum.

Hi Claire. Your video came at a right time. I am stuck right now in choosing a paint color for my entire house. We love grey and some greige colors but not sure what will work for the entire house as a neutral. Right now stuck between Repose Gray SW or Revere Pewter BM. The thing is my house has so many windows and bright areas that in some the paints look almost white. Then my hardwood and kitchen cabinets are a natural light wood. I am soooo confused. I could really use some help. Signed Ms. CONFUSED.

Another awesome informative video! I had to pick a paint color with no inspiration, but for a greigy(is that a word?) color sofa and dark hardwood floors... I picked Revere Pewter... it looks fantastic! I agree, paint color is last and it’s picked based on that inspiration 😊
