Entire song has meaning to me. It really shows how some of us can fall into the monotony of life and heartbreak and simply become used to the expectation of letdown and failure! It's beautiful and sad at the same time!

I can't help but cry to this song. An overwhelming sense of loss, the loss of one's something you were not supposed to become, a shell.

Literally no one's going read this, but here's my take on the song:
He had either felt depression and/or heartbreak. He then feels emotionless, as both do those to you. He used be very happy then his depression/heartbreak came along and now he feels devoid of emotion like a robot would be.
(And before all y'all go off on me saying it's only about heartbreak, depression does the same thing to you, so càllate.)

I know this is probably unnecessarily dark, but this kinda reminds me of schizophrenia. I had a cousin who had schizophrenia and his medicine made him feel lifeless. He described that "the world is grey. I feel like I'm made out of cardboard" and this song reminds me of that. My cousin ended up committing suicide because of it. I know not all schizophrenic people react that way to medication, but that's what this made me think of.

Just discovered this song and Gosh my heart is aching. The voice possess so much pain i feel my chest tightening. Who could be this cruel to do this to a human? Nothing is worse than being turned into an immortal docile doll...it broke my heart. Specially that "Cause I had a fire, passion and desire" part. I feeling unnecessarily gloomy.
Such wonderful work.
