I received $100 one night from a gentleman who just ordered a coke to go. I chased him down and tried to give it back. It was just a coke. He said that he decided the tip and don't steal his joy. Little did he know my light bill was due and tips had been awful that week. There are angels among us. It doesn't cost you a thing to be nice and gave great customer service.

Waiters and waitresses work very hard and live off tips… thanks to our lovely governments… might as well call a waiter a volunteer at this point. Be generous. I always give at least 20%.
