Chad, if you continue to have algae growth, try the copper scrap trick. Just put some scrap copper stuff (wires, pipe ends, junk fittings) and toss them in an old sock to sink to the bottom of the trough. It works a treat in keeping the green growth down during the summer. Hint: works on the pool as well.

Yes you are definitely doing the right thing with your 3 sons. It was so sweet to see all the animals come to the fence to see Case except for Lizzy who was probably hiding in the bottom of the hay. They don’t seem to be afraid of him and seem excited to see him. It was wonderful seeing your parents on the video. Sorry he had to go back in the hospital again. I have a sewing room Chad. I understand the organized chaos, but I know where everything is. Every once in a while, I take the time and clean it up only to find three days later it’s exactly back to square one. 🤷‍♀️ 🇨🇦

That really touches my heart about Case and his Granddad. I have a nephew who lives maybe three miles from either his paternal grandmother or paternal grandfather (who are divorced) and he never sees them. They aren't estranged, but they just don't make the effort. It really saddens my sister (his mom) because when we were growing up, we took every opportunity to visit our grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. and we lived six hours away from them. So, kudos to Case and your family for making and doing the work to keep up those connections. ❣

After Hurricane Katrina, we had a a stew of rotten shrimp, chicken, beef and strawberries. Cleaned it after we vomited our way thru clearing it out. We placed plain charcoal briquettes and closed the lid after left it for 1 month.
Lost the smell and we still are using it.
