Salient Features of Jhansi’s Drinking Water Supply Project

The water supply project in #Burpura, #Jhansi District, completed in association with the State Water and Sanitation Mission (#SWSM) and the Jal Jeevan Mission, is set to improve access to clean drinking water for 62 villages. From the 32.88 MLD intake well and the 28 MLD water treatment plant to the eight reservoirs, fourteen overhead tanks, and an extensive pipeline network, this project ensures reliable water distribution to over 28,500 households. Additionally, nine staff quarters have been constructed to support ongoing operations and maintenance. This project reflects #NCC’s commitment to enhancing the quality of life and strengthening sustainable development in the region.
