Broken Yeti Snowbike Kit and Brief Shop Update

On a tour last week a Client riding my 2022 Husqvarna 300 two stroke paired with a 2021 Yeti 129FR Kit and he noticed it making some weird noises.

I checked it out and the belt was super loose. Very odd because I had checked it the day before and it looked good. So I checked it out, tightened it up and it seemed a bit odd how loose it was.

I test rode it around and stopped to check it out again. Noticed smoke coming out of the the belt drive.

Not sure when or how but the bearing was toast, all the balls were gone and it was rubbing on the bearing holder. Thankfully I was able to tighten it up enough and ride it out.

Ordering new bearings for both sides, bearing holder and it will be up and running in no time.

Make sure you always check your bearings and shafts out on your kits and depending on how often you ride change the bearings every season or two.

I love the lightweight set up of the 2 Stroke paired with the Yeti kit!

I had rode the new Yeti 129 freeride and, although I like the new spindle better than the carbon one, I did not like how the new offset felt.
