i am finally reacting to your UNHINGED TTPD unpopular opinions. and can i say, y’all did NOT disappoint lol. after sharing my thoughts and rankings i wanted to react to some of your opinions and some of these are actually INSANE 😂 basically y’all just insulting my favorite songs on the album hahaha.

but for real i love seeing and reacting to taylor swift unpopular opinions because it helps me see new perspectives! as i always say, everyone has a right to their opinions and i love that we all have our own favs! just remember to be respectful in the comments 🫶

The Anthology/Black Dog cover art immediately struck me as tortured. She looks like she's writhing in pain, but her face also says she's so tired of being let down. As I look at it longer, it also starts to look like she's starting to relax, aka let it go as she thinks about it, lets herself feel all the feels, lean into it, and heal.

another unpopular opinion of mine:

the anthology should’ve been released a fortnight after the standard, it would’ve fit the twos and I think (for me) every song needs to be analyzed with calm and everyone was freaking out and fighting over the 31 songs

with the time space, we could’ve digested the standard version and would’ve been ready for the next overwhelming drop

20:09 Taylor has always been one to throw in quirky lyrics, her silliness is something that we all love about her! In my opinion, I adore how she throws in little lyrics that we might not understand, but might mean something to her as an inside joke or as a fond memory. "We declared Charlie Puth should be a bigger artist" I think was probably an example of this, kinda like with "hang your head low in the glow of the vending machine, i'm not dying." That's how I read it, or maybe she knew it was a cringe/sarcastic thing to say, but her life is cringe and sarcastic and she's never shied away from that ;)

"A red rose grew up out of ice frozen ground with no one around to tweet it" is a pretty clear message to me, the whole song is about how she is trying to avoid real life, the "hunters with cell phones" and even in her most peaceful moments of escapism, she's always jerked back into reality. That part is supposed to jar you out of that ethereal dreamland, because it's not real.

Just how I've perceived those lyrics, love your vids Nena 😊🩷 Your TTPD reaction video was my favorite with your sister as the albatross. 😂
