But $5 for a bag and tissue? That’s something I’ve never been big on, because it just holds a gift and gets hopefully reused, but often trashed, immediately. I like to reuse paper grocery bags to make gift wrap and a classic simple bow (like tie your shoe bow, not a fluffy overdone gift wrap bow) and clean some ribbon-like curls. And other things - whatever feels right. Using just a paper bag, glue, scissors, tape, imagination and however much time you want to put into it, you can make such classy, clean, perfect and free gift wrapping necessities. Saving $ is important but a lot of why I do it is because it’s …hella cool and environmentally 👍 and sends a nice message to the recipient, that I put care and heart into it. I don’t make shabby or sloppy, kid DIY looking stuff, and I don’t make stuff that looks like it made by “Shelly - the skilled crafting woman!”(you know - that “I make crafts and do it well” look that’s always overdone and screams “Hobby Lobby is my temple” from the lady that owns every expensive fancy crafting appliance/machine thing and had her craft supplies professionally organized). I do simple, clean, modern, no embellishment stuff, using paper bags though, so it has a not fussy, not “glitter and paint and sparkles” look.
That was way over explained all for gift wrap but … whatever.
