As a child -1946 to about 1955 - I made and taught myself to shoot a slingshot. I practiced a lot and showed off to the other kids! Even shot a few matchsticks! Could hit some at the end of the garden. BUT! Our house was in a town and the garden? About 8 Meters! I wish I was 9 years old again and just seen you shoot! Now, i'm an antique so forget the lighters. Give me a Gas Pump - I could still hit that! ⛽

When you over concentrate and try Focusing/ Aiming it instead of just looking at your Target and pointing your slingshot at it and Firing all in one fluid movement it goes off target but when you just look point and shoot so to speak its generally more accurate and on target!
