In this video, we will learn the relation between Images, Numbers, NumPy, and OpenCV. We will just have a brief look at various fundamentals like image properties, channels, image representation in computers, and N-dimensional Arrays.

The link to the github repository for the code examples is as follows,

Hi Ashwin,

You have said in the video like [125 137 226] as a tuple, but aren't they list in python. Tuples will be represented as (125 137 226) in python.

Thanks for your great tutorial and i have a doubt in that once we read the image in opencv it will give the value like [125 137 226]-B G R then how does it will consider in numpy as R G B image if it does so it may be change the colour code accordingly can you please clarify the doubt

Hi Ashwin, when you said the last calculation was the size of the image, I went and compared it to the size of the image, displayed in the file explorer, and i noticed its 17kb smaller than what we're calculating. I checked another image and realized there was no pattern, it was 4kb smaller than the computed value. Do you know what might be causing this discrepancy ? Thanks for the amazing tut. I really love computer vision.

Thank you for the Amazing content covering the very basics. The sounds like 'hmmm'', ''ahh'' are kind of irritating when heard for long.so please plan it before hand. thanks a lot.

I was working with my own picture and was wondering if you could go more in depth with the meaning of these numbers. I understand the BGR, but what is the meaning of the ''...''' or how the tuples are grouped together.
Thanks!
