For my niece's birthday, I bought the book 'Quantum Physics for Babies'. In this video I read through it and give my expert opinion on what it contains. Does the Physics hold up?

I believe the purpose of these books is quite noble, they introduce the idea that quantum physics is accessible and people should dare to look into it. It might just be a way of tackling limiting beliefs and empowering people. There is a saying that we sometimes use to describe something we perceive as too difficult to understand, "oh, come on, it is not like it is quantum physics" that does not really empower us, right? It is for sure time to change the narrative, so that we change our perception and dare to think we are indeed very capable. Everybody knows that changing people's perception is not a piece of cake, so giving the option to create the perception in infancy, is actually remarkable. I love the idea of this book series, even though I don't have kids. Let's train open minds :), cultivate curiosity, passion and kindness.

Read this to my 17 month old daughter for her nap time reading two hours ago. It wasn't her favorite book, but she didn't complain about it! We got the series, which I think has six books. I'm excited to read more of them to her :)

This made me laugh because my dad is a physics major and when we were growing up he would always explain things to us in this way. no matter what we were supposed to be learning he would find a way to relate it to physics. Always went completely over my head and made my homework take a lot longer than it should have but he was a great dad!

The book is for babies, it is just to give notions, it is like: you learn in high school physics that are not quite acturate that you only find out at college, I hope.

My son loves these books. I bought the books when he was three, now he is six years old, he still enjoys the books. Thank you.

Although.... I can’t understand ‘quantum information for babies ‘, maybe I will understand after another 100 times readings. 😅

I’m a little worried about the moms out there who are going to think that if their kid isn’t liking quantum physics for babies that they’re falling behind. Like, it’s okay to not learn quantum as a baby.

The book cover says ‘for babies’ you grownups don’t take too serious as long as our babies love these series of books it doesn’t matter for mommies 🙏🏻

the book says
1. this ball has zero energy(even it is false)
2. all balls are made of atoms
3. there are electrons
4. there are no electrons with zero energy
So things with energy can make up things with no energy!! Hmmm~~~is that logical??

Do you have an opinion on Baby Loves Quantum Physics by Ruth Spiro? I would love to hear how that compares to this one as scientific accuracy goes -- I know it's focused on different concepts though.
