Season Finale

It's been around 9 weeks since our previous video where Mandy had just had surgery to remove an infection that had caused sepsis after just completing her cancer treatment.

Mandys recovery was estimated to be 10 to 12 weeks and to start with it took a few weeks until she was able to walk for more than a few minutes, but she took things slowly and each day we tried that little bit more until after a month she was walking more and was far more stable on her feet.

With the help of renewed confidence in her health and the arrival of our friends, Jon & Tash from @lifebeyondbricks as well as Darran from @TheUrbanMotorhome, Mandys recovery has been remarkable and in just 10 weeks she's walking and driving again.

There's still a long way to go until she's back to the fitness levels pre cancer & sepsis, however, were working on that each day in order to get back to doing what we started this channel for in the first place, the love of travel.

Mandy has some hospital appointments in the next 2 months to see how the cancer treatment, and sepsis recovery, is looking.

Thank you John for your wonderful support for Mandy during her cancer journey. My hubby going through prostate cancer journey, had heart attack in 2021, during covid, diagnosed as result of blood tests. That time, I wasn't allowed to attend hospital, so he was told of diagnosis on his own. We're now 2 years in, hormone treatment difficult, but grateful he's doing so well. It isn't easy watching person you love suffering...stay strong John ❤

Well on the road to full recovery Mandy. The Spitfire campsite looked so interesting with all the activities going on and within striking distance of foodie heaven eateries.
