Excellent tutorial. I'm driving a Model 3 for the first time tomorrow and needed a good tutorial like this. Thanks.

Thanks for the information on using the pin (point to destination) option. I was not aware of how to use this feature.

are you able to set navigation to avoid highways and it takes you the street route?

Does it have to be top down or can you have the traditional 3D view?

just obtained a model Y. On 2 occasions Tell navigated a route that was longer than Google maps. Is this common. Thanks for a great tutorial.

Is navigation “favorites” specific to each driver? Also will favorites be saved/transferred to my rental Turo?

I rely a lot on voice directions. In my Toyota navigation system, when voice direction starts, the radio temporarily mutes and then turns back on again after the direction is given so that I either hear ONLY the navigator or the radio. How do I do this on my Model 3? (I usually just drive with the radio off.)

How do I remove or change a favorite? I hit the X and it does go away but when I drive again it’s back. Can you help?

I hate the navigation so much in my Tesla. It makes things so much more complicated then it needs to be for them by turn directions. For instance if I’m driving on a freeway it tells me to “exit to stay straight” which makes absolutely no sense. It’s what happens when engineers design functional features
