Not a nice mother in my view, better to explain to children so small, than make them feel bad over something so trivial. If she behaves like this to her children throughout their childhood, they will grow up with low self-esteem, just like their mother. Children need to have things explained to them lovingly and thoughtfully. This makes them welcome and enjoy learning and understanding and they grow up feeling respected and they show that same respect to others. It’s disturbing to listen to this horrible woman.

I told my kids that if they told me the truth about something that they wouldnt get in trouble and I promised that to them but if they lied to me about something and I find out they had lied that there would be major consequences. Guess what? One lie from one child ever during their childhood.... worked well for us and we had complete trust in our kids and that spoke volumes

This mom is creating an environment where her kids think it's better to lie to her then tell the truth. That's not even an opinion, that's quite literally what's happening in the video.
