A chef who comforts victims of natural disaster with comfort “food”

Natural disasters make access to meals difficult and in some cases almost impossible. Food is a necessity for victims and evacuees as well as rescue teams and first-responders.

One chef has made it his mission to feed all of them. Along with a group of volunteers, he provides what he calls “comfort food” to those affected by a disaster. And it makes a dramatic difference in their lives.

Chef Andres and his team purchase all they need from local vendors. That helps support the local economies of the devastated areas.
