Guy Hollingsworth began his Church Educational System employment as an administrator at Ricks College in July 1991. He worked in various student services capacities throughout his career at BYU-Idaho and Idaho State University.

I feel truly blessed to be a lifelong member of the Lord's church, with the emphasis placed on serving others. The story that this good man tells about his friend's widow and the help that she received with such a massive potato harvest reminds me of the story that Elder Christofferson told in his April 2018 Conference talk about the grieving father and the help that he received with his massive sugar beet harvest shortly after burying most of his own children. Such touching stories! May we all strive to more fully live up to Christ's example 🙏

I am now back and active in the church after many decades of being away. I stepped away from the church because of same sex attraction and thought that being authentic required me to leave the church, how sad. Luckily for me I could not stop reading the Book of Mormon and with the help of the Elders I had my own Alma the younger moment and then the Lord helped me to come to church every Sunday and soon I will be going to the temple. How greatful I am for the word of God. And this is the word of God. Holding fast to the word of God I am protected and strengthened against the temptations and fiery darts of the devil. Thank you for this talk.
