Honestly I don't want her t blow up so much. The reason is because she's good, and ironically enough lots of mainstream artists start to decrescendo in quality after popularity. I would say because they have reached a pinnacle in which they don't have to try anymore. Her vocal and lyrical skills are apparent and beautiful. I like her a lot. She captured me with this song. "With you I'm in warm water, swimming down"... Hmm.
Is she referring to how water gets progressively colder as you swim down deeper into it, implying that her love for this man is beautiful but is doomed to grow cold and emotive and ultimately fail?
Or does she mean she's so invested in her love for this man that she continues to swim deeper and deeper into his love because it makes her feel warm?
Or perhaps she means that, with him, she is forced to be pulled down into his love, either in a controlling and abusive way or in a beautiful way? Does she really not want to swim down with him? Is he forcing her? Or is she in compliance and enjoying it?
Or perhaps she is saying that without this man, she is not brave enough to swim deeper into the water (or love itself) but with him, she finds the strength to dive deeper?
So many interpretations and it's 11:00PM. I need to shut off.
