In they keynote they said they will be improving angular over the years, the part you keep saying about svelte stores was just a passing though they didn't display the slide for more than a few seconds, I'm not sure what they will do, I do think if they do with signals it is re-inventing the wheel, but from the conf I think they are keeping both sides of the community in mind, maybe they will favour beginners but I don't think they will ditch RXJS but who knows.
