Critical error. There is no "Carfax Abbey" in the novel. This is a common error made by some people due to the various film versions. There is an abbey mentioned near Seward's asylum, but it's never connected to the estate Dracula is purchasing, which is merely one of a few properties and is called simply Carfax. There is no Carfax Abbey.
