My favorite, by far, is when Don Cheadle is trying to sell a stereo and he puts on some cowboy/western music. He advises the guy that he should move his hips along with the music. Because that's what helps. That was Boogie Nights right? Selling a stereo to cowboy music.

Seriously that is one of my favorite scenes too..for exactly that reason...I described it as his EW&F album cover costume, his expression and utter sadness of never feeling comfortable in any of his looks, the way PTA captured Don Cheadle aka Buck in that scene..and Melora Walters was so excellent...one of my most favorite films. Plus every single scene of Magnolia. Tom Cruise's finest performance.

Don Cheadle is a treasure in all he does no one could have done Buck better, his bad a-- gangster in Out of Sight was priceless just to name a couple

I paid more attention to the sistah’s “ I have the chocolate love looks “ . Women had more appeal on this movie because 70’s porn was all about them. And having Nina Hartley on the plot was such a bonus.

This is also a flick you get Burt Reynolds out of his leading charming man character and turn him into an anti hero. Something he was not acostumed then.

For me, Don Cheadle breaking away performance was Hotel Rwanda. His character on Boogie Nights comes alive abd well selling Hi Fi stereos. It captures the era.

Second best, is the donuts shop robbery.
