Homeland Multidisciplinary Event

A two-day multi-disciplinary arts event comprising an art installation, theatre and music performances, and workshops. Homeland creates a platform, where artists respond creatively to the current refugee crisis in the Middle East, with each day themed around an artistic language and a part of refugees’ journey.

This is an exploration of the journey towards the unknown, crossing borders, leaving home, reaching the point of arrival and creating a new home. The event aims to create a space where dialogue emerges within communities (with and without refugee backgrounds) and to allow memories to unfold and new stories to be created.
