An exoerinced and great pilot had a bad day. And the 7 other people were Payton Chester, 13; Sarah Chester, 45; Alyssa Altobelli, 14; Keri Altobelli, 46; John Altobelli, 56; Christina Mauser, 38; and the helicopter's pilot, Ara Zobayan, 50. They had lives and they had names. It's equally tragic that they died that day.

Pilot error, and the fact that the Black Boxes were not on such a helicopter shall be an automatic mandatory rule now, and that goes for all types of aircraft, even the solo Cessnas. Regarding black boxes, they are to store 20, 000 hours, minimum, of flight and cockpit voice data, up to a maximum of 24, 000 hours.
