Riding a dirt bike in the woods is a blast, but only when you have control of your bike. This can be difficult if you're just getting back into riding after a long break (20+ years) or if you've been riding on the street for decades.

In this video, I'm going to show you:
-3 dirt bike riding tips for beginners that are not popular or commonly taught
-Why people are making mistakes and not doing them properly
-How to practice these dirt bike riding techniques to that you can ride faster with more confidence and control

Motocross Hideout is my personal brand to help new riders learn to properly and safely ride a dirt bike so that you don't crash and miss out on life because of an injury. My Virtual Dirt Biker School is an online riding course/camp that teaches anyone new to dirt bikes the basic techniques to stay in control and become a better rider faster. I've taught many first time riders over the years, both guys and girls, young and old.

Great advice! I have struggled finding the right balance of how far to look ahead and speed, but am working on it. The braking is key for sure, recently had an unexpected drop by "stabbing" the rear brake and boom...didn't have time to recover on a greasy section of trail....and for sure, the 3rd one is a mantra always going through my head..."hang loose and let the bike move under me".
