Armadillos (Little Armored Ones) quite the nocturnal critters!

Armadillos that were caught by my game cam. I have never seen a live armadillo out during the day so this video is night vision only. I understand that when I see them dead along the roads it's because vehicles try straddling them, so as not to kill them, but the defense mechanism of the armadillo that causes them to roll up for protection also cause them to jump and they hit the under carriage of vehicles, thus killing them.
