Monty is like an anime character without any character development. In Ruin, he is just a mindless killing machine and appears to not have any awareness anymore. Also, he did not do that smart when willingly going into the water for his final encounter.

I'm both happy and disappointed with his treatment in the DLC. Obviously, the fact that he turned into a literal alligator, and completely mad with rage and out of reason, that's so cool and that's what I wanted (partially…) Although it could have been better, like making him more stealthy and make real alligator sounds. But I also wanted him to have more depth and some questions answered, he doesn't even have new lines.. I mostly thought his anger was because of a virus or something. So he doesn't even have a chance at redemption on top of that because Cassie didn't even try, and I really hope they didn't kill him like that because I'm going to be really pissed. And saddened by the wasted potential. The worst part is he gets screwed over by a fuck¡ng Bonnie neon sign. Haha SyMboLiSm, we don't even know for sure if it's deserved!! It's so unfair. And Roxy getting all the attention for some reasons. Honestly I wanted them all to have an happy ending but I guess it is what it is. This DLC frustrated me more than anything actually lol. They better make another dlc or a SB 2, and he better come back, I mean he survived until here I’m sure he will just be.. asleep after the electrocution until he get saved or something. And if he’s a real villain or a misunderstood guy who was just controlled, my boy deserved better either way

I’ve seen a lot of people who complain that Monty was the one who destroyed Bonnie. I’m not downing this theory, but I don’t think that’s what happened either. During the gondola in Monty Golf, it shows what seems to be his backstory as a one man band that resided in the golf course (this is backed up by the fact that Monty’s hologram is seen by itself during our time in the golf course or it’s probably just because this is his zone.). He looked up to Glamrocks as his idols, especially Bonnie. The Triple A Fazbear Wiki states that Bonnie retired and decided to give his role to Monty, as well as his guitar. Monty became close to Roxy after she helped him get ready for his debut.

Once he was introduced to the public, people, especially the kids, were questioning where Bonnie was. Monty just wasn’t as popular as Bonnie was and it began to shift his personality from a hype, rock loving gator into what we know today. After Bonnie disappeared, Monty was constantly upgraded with the same parts that Bonnie had. However, the parts advanced not just his skill, but his emotions as well. He destroyed staff bots and his room out of rage many times. You can’t really blame him for his outbursts. He was constantly bombarded with hate by a lot of guests who only wanted Bonnie back, not this random alligator that the company decided to pick up from the golf course and drop him onto the main stage in Bonnie’s place. The corrupted parts amplified his rage even further.

Like I said before, I’m not saying Bonnie wasn’t destroyed by Monty. I’m only providing another view on what probably happened. We can’t jump to conclusions, no matter how obvious it may seem. Remember, it was never confirmed by Steel Wool Studios if Monty did destroy Bonnie.

I really hope he comes back in RUIN 2. I always liked Monty but I've started loving him even more as I got more into theorizing about his character. He's more than what I initially thought him to be. I used to be a firm believer that he killed Bonnie but that couldn't have happened.

Monty never wanted to be a rockstar in the first place. He missed shows on purpose. He also wasn't aggressive until he got his claws, which was after Bonnie vanished.

His anger was due to a glitch, or so it was said, but it was probably a result of Bonnie's disappearance. He was also seen revisiting the catwalks where Bonnie went missing, probably as a way of mourning the Bunny.

I wonder if it’s possible to repair the Monty. I know you can get Chica’s voice box after completing wave 20 of the Chica’s Feeding Frenzy arcade game. It’s also possible to find Monty’s legs. They’re in this big pile of Monty merchandise next to a wet floor sign bot. All I can remember is that it’s in an area where you can’t take the mask off.

ruined monty is definetly the most animalistic out of the glamrocks, he becomes total animal while Roxy and Chica still care about beauty and food. I feel bad for him though, because he's the worst damaged
