In my eighth grade year, I somehow coerced my classmates into all gifting me a birthday present. My mother was a teacher and was gifted so many things for xmas on year. I swiped the things she didn’t want and regifted them to my classmates. So when my birthday came up a few months later, my classmates reciprocated the gifting (not my original intent!) and I went home with like fifty dollars (which was a nice chunk of change for an 8th grader back then lol).
