Two notes:
1. You said it was 30HP/s in the title, but 26 HP/s in the video! True, but *in practice*, you regen about +30 HP/s due to the massively boosted natural regen it also gives you compared to normal. It’s nice rounding.
2. My smoothbrain said it beats everything else by a factor of 6.5. I forgot about max life nebulas, which are 9HP/sec, so they only beat that by almost 3x.

And even without abusing this, lifedrain is great for crowd and control and bosses with multiple parts like the destroyer. And crow control, too (le funny)

specifics of how the draining works is about the DoT applied to enemies (5 dps DoT) which also causes the particles
some enemies are immune to the debuff but still get main weapon damage (best examples being destroyer and possessed armor) so no matter how many of them you do attack you won't get extra healing from them

The life drain is very underrated imo, even without using this. It can deal with early hardmode enemies very well and is always nice for that extra bit of regen.
