If you are interested in adopting, we encourage you to please submit an application on our website today so that we can try and process and pre-approve any potential adopters prior to our next adoption event.
Adoption Process:
1.Fill out an application
2.Meet & Greet
3.Adoption contract & adoption fee
The adoption fee covers all their age-appropriate shots, vetting & microchipping.
**If you are coming to an adoption event to see a certain dog/cat, please email ahead of time to make sure that dog/cat will be there that day. Please email 1-2 days before the event, as some animals are placed during the week and our list is constantly changing.
One Step Closer Animal Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Donations are TAX DEDUCTIBLE to the extent allowed by law. If you would like to make a donation to help us rescue more animals please send donations to PO Box 248, Sparta, NJ 07871. Please make your check payable to O.S.C.A.R.. Thank you for helping us save as many lives as we can.
