No matter what flavor of ambient sounds is pushing through - harsh noise or smooth strings - that deep bass line pulse beats still in the same rhythm. Over and over again, but every part of the song moves differently, some parts are stretching and some are shrinking. It's genius how easy it shows experiencing time itself. Boredom - it moves slowly, excitement - it moves faster, pain - slow, trance - fast, but overall the background of ticking clock (time) is still in the same tempo as it ever was, and always will be.
Melody that shapes very intimate pictures of our soft imagination - once taking us elsewhere, once bringing something to us - and one can interpret it in so many ways that even after a year or so still can discover something new.
Truly inspirational work.

Zeit might be lost counterpart for "Zauberberg" album
cuz I barely hear first beat in "Der Lange Marsch 1" sound similar.
