This New Megane RS caught me by surprise! Started the video, swiftly managed to prepare and drink my morning coffee, while reviewing the daily schedule, and there it was...already at 249km/h in no time! Nearly missed it.

Up to 240km/h is fast but last 15km/h up to 255 km/h is sluggish, but overall it's nice acceleration and top speed for 1.8 engine and 1500kg car.

I precise that, even the 1.8 tce is a bit slow from the 5th gear, the megane speedometer displays the "true" (2kmh of precision) Speed unlike all VAG sport hatch (more the speed grows up, more the speed indicator exagerates the speed.... for the security but also maybe to show how "fast" their cars can go) 😌
