Trying Out Life Gear Glow Stick During Survival Trip

Bison from Buggingin on YT gave me a Life Gear reusable LED glow stick to try out and here are my thoughts.

When I had first received it, I thought it was just another glow stick and set it aside to look at later. But when I looked at the package I realized that I had a pretty cool thing on my hands.

Most people love glow sticks but they are made for single use only and then you throw them away. I dont like waste so I never use them myself. Even when someone gives me a single use glow stick I never end up using it because I want to save it for something special one day, which never comes.

This is a Life Gear reusable LED glow stick which is battery powered and lasts for up to 200 hours on a set of batteries. This is way better than the single use 6 or 8 hour glow sticks we are all familiar with.

The Life Gear glow stick equals the equivalent of over 1,000 normal glow sticks considering the LED life span.

This glow stick uses button cell batteries to power it but even with these, I figure it is less wasteful than the chemical filled glow sticks on the market.

I love my new glow stick and it stays in my Bug out Bag. I am considering getting a red one for survival situations when you done want your light to travel so far. Red light does not travel as well as other colors.
