My dad, bro and I watched the last 30 laps from turn 1, huge amounts of emotion ran through the crowd every time 888 and 15 went past. Amazing day.

Was at the track for this one, I was only 6 at the time, My dad named me after Peter Brock, I couldn't work out why my dad was cheering on the Ford driver over the Holden

I was in a live chat Q-A session with Craig Lowndes years ago, and I asked him what his favourite victory was.

He said "Bathurst 2006. No question. Because of everything that led up to that race."

Supercars initially uploaded this with all the copyright music that plays when the commercial returned to the race but they've had to take that down and re-up it with the music cut out and results in commentary and footage music lost. surely a multi million organization like Supercars could have sorted that out
