I’ve watched every possible documentary featuring Floor. She is an interesting paradox. Such a confident and dominant persona on stage, but relatively shy and humble in everyday life. Both Floor and her mother are very emotion individuals and are also extremely close. You should really watch some of these gems. They are all on YouTube and really give a fascinating insight into this charismatic woman

Emma Heesters is mostly known for doing covers and a You Tuber who has her own Channel. Thanks for this emotional reaction. Floor always reveals what an amazing human she is. Strong is a hard song to listen to for me, because my mom suffers from chronic pain and she still pushes through that pain, same with Floor's mother.
Emma did a marvelous job portraying all of Floor's emotions when she wrote it and seeing her crying at end breaks my heart every time

Beautiful song, so much emotions and wonderful message!❤️ I lost my mother to cancer too... a year ago I was at the Zomerfestival (a summer Festival) with Floor singing live. It was wonderful, and Floor sung this song too. The festival was on the death Memorial Day of my mother, so I shed some tears that night... 💕

Emma Heesters is a Youtube star doing covers and her carreer started by performing in this show. The concept of this show is that singers from different genres each sing a song from each artist during an episode. In 2019 the collection of singers was so enormously great... Really great singers with a lot of respect for each other and all performed great songs. You should also watch Ruben Annink (The young guy on the couch) singing a song for Floor: They dance alone (original from Sting)

I was very happy when I saw you were covering this - I know I'm not the only one who requested this but I'm so glad you did! It is a very personal song for me because my Mother (who is now 80) has suffered from crippling rheumatoid arthritis since her early 30's - "I see every smile you fake" was of course lost on me as I was just a youngster who didn't fully understand - but when I was diagnosed with Epilepsy (mid teens) you begin to grow up quickly and that phrase becomes all too clear in your understanding. Floor's reaction always sets me off too - you can find videos of her trying to sing this song at one of her solo shows - she can never quite finish it! As I said before, you might like to do Floor singing Samantha's song 'Mama' to her (makes my Wife cry every time) such a powerful emotive song. Also if you want to hear a little more from Emma - she does a gorgeous duet with Henk Poorte, 'Vivo per Lei' by Andrea Bocelli. Btw Samantha performs Nightwish's 'Our Decades in the Sun' which Nightwish have never performed to my knowledge?😃 I wish you all the best - onwards and upwards, as we say here in the UK. Take care.
