This is probably my favorite animation of Eggman. He enjoys the chase and has a brilliant personality. Even though he’s tyrannical, there’s also an underlying sense of kindness. And the little detail of him cracking like an egg when he realizes Tails is invincible is hysterical! This is honestly some stellar work!

Despite Eggman being a villain he still said to tails "Hey Tails, I'm sure your gonna be ok" expecting that sonic would come and save tails before the laser zapped him. Even when Sonic didn't come he still bursted out into legit tears because of it.

He may be a villain but he still has a heart.

For a minute I thought Sonic was actually was going to let Tail get killed, but I forgot that even if he dies, he can respawn back. I'm pretty sure Tail has some lifepoints or probably has some plot main character armor that doesn't let him die. Other then that, I do like Eggman being an honest and caring villain when he was worried about Tails being killed by his own machine. Maybe this prove that this Dr. Eggman isn't heartless like the other Dr. Eggman from different Sonic Dimensions. I think Maria would've been so proud of him for being caring.. Wouldn't you agree?
