Great stuff, Tom! Number 2 is perfect and I hate it so much when people do it against me :)

#3 block is probably best because it was against Pitch and was blocked perfectly to his right pocket and jammed him up. The 'nobody home' blocks where the opponent is caught out or stepping around look more spectacular, but they're usually due to opponent mispositioning or risk taking. Pitch was in the right spot and being pretty safe and it still jammed him up.

Yes blocking is your natural style and you do well. I would lose bigtime against you with my engaged loops. #2 is the best.

Nice video Tom as always. I prefer 'flying blocks' 8 and 1 with no feet on the floor :D

Good video, tom. Kind of off topic but I could use some advice on how to play certain kinds of loopers. Theres these higher rated loopers I played who loop the ball very late and send this high arcing heavy topspin ball short on my side of the table. Its akward to do anything but drive it and it goes flying out every single time no matter how i angle my bat. I know I should take these earlier but I find it very difficult to get timing earlier on those as it pops up fast. Another kind of player I really struggle with are the players who loop very fast cross court. Cant usually even react fast enough to try to get a paddle on it or time it early enough to block/counter it. Any advice on these issues? Thanks.

3 and 1 were the best probably 3. Look at who it was against and the quality of the shot

I like n5, only because it was against Pawel 😆
And of course n1, nice to see Craig's face saying "what happened?"

Any tips for bat angle/amount of drive depending on how much topspin is on the ball?
What's the most effective way of controlling alot of topspin?
Thanks :)

#3 and #1 because they are against Liam Pitchford and the Block God himself, respectively :)

I agree with those who voted for #2, nasty block from the opponent's point of view, long, fast, following the edge of the table.

My favourite one was actually the block in 6:36 min (nr 2). What kind of block was that?
