Russia Study Captured Leopard 2A6 - A New Threat to Ukraine? - In this video, we explore the potential risks Ukraine faces if Russia successfully reverse-engineers the Leopard 2A6 tank technology. After a captured Leopard 2A6 was sent to Russia's Uralvagonzavod factory for study, experts are raising concerns about how Russia might replicate its advanced features and develop counter-weapons. Could Russia gain a strategic advantage by understanding the design and capabilities of this powerful, German-made tank? Let’s dive deeper.

Why would Russians duplicate an expensive junk?

Russians beat German tanks before, why do you think, that Western technology is better, they better on paper but in the real battle they pile of metal.

The minister of defense sergey shoigu couple years ago, when he was looking at a german leopard said : our tanks are much better, there is nothing new here for us to dicover, a pile of junk he said. 🙂

Russia doing just fine and getting more powerful. They don't need anybody's help.

German tanks have lost in Kursk second WW because of their heaviness, I don't think that Russians are more likely to be interested in technology they are defeating

Russians looked at the Leo, and said: they had Leopards, here they are converted into Leo-parts.

You just repeat the same thing over and over for 8 mins... If you only stated the same information once the video would be 3 mins long..

western engineers are trained to make more complicated and expensive, Russians are trained to make simpler, more efficient and cheaper

They also found an intact ATACMS guidance assembly. Add to this training and gathering radar signal data on the Patriot system, jamming techniques on the Storm Shadow, ATACMS, and SCALP missile systems, and capturing an older model Abrams tank.

Russia may not use western tank technologies on their tanks, but how and where 2 destroy.

if Ukraine is adapting so well and have such "exceptional capabilities", why are they losing?

Russia will forward a captured Leopard tank to china to make clones or copies of the leopard tank for sale to third world countries at low price compared to the original Leopard tank

Why would you? It is too heavy a tank for the area and a huge easy target. Plus too expensive to maintain and no better against Russian tanks. I watched a documentary about how the Russians are not at all fascinated by all that technology

Ya maybe the Ukraine might think it can beat Tsar, but remember the sacrifice and who saved our world, USSR, Now Mr.Vladimir Putin doing this 4 us.

Russia destroyed them easily, why would they want them if not to find weaker points?

There is little interesting about the leopard. Except for electronics and optics systems. everything about armor and engine is not interesting for Russia. The leopard's engine is heavy, large dimensions, eats a lot of fuel, the t90 has a better engine, although less horsepower. Armor? Does the leopard have one? Yes, there are gaps in the forehead with rubber and aluminum, against the cumulative jet, so this is already an old technology, the t90 also has this. And in the sides of the leopard there is generally 20mm armor, which even a 30mm caliber cannon will penetrate...I remember World War 2, how terrible the tiger was, a thick square box, but it turned out that they made pure steel, it was stronger, but it was fragile and cracked like cast iron. And who copied tanks from whom later? The Royal tiger had the image of a T-34. It would have been better if the Germans had copied the t-55A when they had

Today I saw a new video from Kursk where Leo 2 got hit with just 1 fpv and catched fire, It got somewhere under the turret. First smoke, then fire started to show up from commander hatch.

You forget to mention Krasnopol laser guided rounds that eliminate 99% moving tanks as far from 10 km, discovered and pin pointed by Orlan Ai drones, it is for what there is no concentration tanks of more than 3 at a time.
